There I was...Inverted

I went to West Ed after going to that Calgary thingy.

It rained the whole time. Walking in the mud is awesome fun, but only for the first few hours. We took off early because everyone was having a really crappy time. Carol and I rented a little motel room and spent the night.

It was kinda fun just going on a little day long road trip. I get awesome milage on the trip too! Go Chastity! Calgary isn't such a horrible looking city as I remember it, I wouldn't ever want to live there though, driving through it was easy enough. naturally one might argue that cities you can easily drive through you should.

Or drive around, like Winnipeg. The upshot of me moving to Moose Jaw is that I don't have to move back to Winnipeg. Strange as it sounds, Im pretty sure I will Like MJ more than the 'peg. Im in the process of getting monies for moving from the military. Im a "special case" which basically means no one has a clue what Im entitled to. I went in today and the lady just kept staring at the information on her screening, as if she was willing it to tell her what to do. Eventually I got a meeting with the supervisor of the Section. I never knew how "special" I was. Ofcourse all of you already know just how "special" I really am.

Going camping next weekend at elk island, which might be fun. I enjoy the outdoors, especially when there isn't any forced marching involved. I like communing with nature, I just also enjoy showering. Thankfully Elk Island has said ammenity so things arn't so bad. Maybe I might see some elk, or even a bear. If I see the bear, I hope he/she does not see me. I tend to stay away from things that weigh that much, which is why I hope to never meet Sally Struthers.

Back to West Ed. I went to Galaxy land, the thing that replaced the "Drop of Doom" is called the Space Shot. It blows. Seriously not even a yawn. Even Carol was bored with it. The mind bender was still fun, though I wasn't braced properly and I slammed my ear against the head rest. If one was actually scared by that thing one tenses up and its not an issue. I was enjoying the ride and was summarily punished for it.

So busy weekend. Hopefull busy week, and I get all next week off. So call me.

Long Awaited!

Wow I like never update.

I would like to blame the Play-offs, but really I can't. Stuff has been hapening in my life, but I just don't have a lot of internet access right now.

I actually work at work, and have now since december (which sucks, but I can't really complain since they pay me much better now)

and Im not living with Mike anymore. So no internet access at home.

Old news is I'm leaving on 8th of August, but I get a lot of time off between now and then. Something like 18 days off, I havn't been counting. I want to do exciting things between now and then, like indoor faux-rock climbing (that would be fun) or going to Galaxyland (also fun). Bungee jumping is off the books, as the human body is not designed to plummet. Infact Im pretty sure positive selection for plummeting just never came up at the evolution meetings.

Not even once.

Im going to a new gym now:world health club. Its quite nice and quite expensive, they do give you towel service there. That means warm fluffy towels are everywhere. Since I am a boy, I sweat, these towels are a God Send. I, and my fellow gymers, appreciate it. As well since its so expensive there isn't any riff-raff (read also:children and/or parents with children in tow). Mostly business people that work in the area (like myself, and recently Mike, who is now working for the provincial man).

I've tried to start a diet. I allow myself to cheat on the weekends, mostly because I can't give up sugar all at once. Don't worry, its not aikens, its just a healthier diet: limit processed foods, limit salt and fat, eat more vegetables. Thats right, I've eaten lettuce, almost three times now (maybe even four!)

Carol and I are practically shacked up now. I sleep over here now more than ever (was it possible? I assure you it was) and I have all may stuff at my parents house (where I pay rent) and eat at Carols ( where I pay for food) so I think everything worked out well.

Im going to Calgary this weekend, for a Breast Cancer thingy. Run for the cure I think its called. Since three of my family has had it, I decided I should participate. I race down to calgary in car, right after work, jump out and start walking around a track. It will prove to be a looooong day, so I must take my leave.

Night night.
