4 oclock and all is well

I'm at the community centre and it has more nanny guards than the MFRC, so I don't know how many blogs I will be able to read today.

Mark, the guy with the car, flew in late today and felt bad so stayed later. Its not that he did anything useful, he just stayed later. I am baffled by the RMC need to keep things in "balance" like we do anything important that it couldnt be started and finished tomorrow, within 10 minutes.

My Canada day weekend wasn't so bad. I went on a few rides and actually got a little green. Ofcourse this was after an entire day of riding these things, but I still got a little green. I blame the 18 mini doughnuts, they did me in, I refuse to believe I have less Amusement park ride stamina than I use to. Hand me my cane would you?

So my leave is all offical now, and I get 9 more days ON TOP of what I get in August. That means I'll be able to have a nice long visit in December after finals (maybe show up the day of a certain someone's last final, tee hee) and also still have enough time to come visit for Reading week (maybe, depending on how many "free" leave days the commander gives us plebs in december).

My transfer wouldn't likely go through till January, I suspect, as I still have to do pilot type "mini"-courses here in Winnipeg. Since I don't have to do anything, offically, with flying in OVER a year, they arn't moving very quickly getting me on said courses.

Its annoying, but atleast they give me leave whenever I ask for it. Also I we get this thing called "LTA" which makes it cheaper to go home once a year, so I could also use that for christmas, ontop of the Canada air military discount.

So Theres already been one birthday party thingy, and a proposed 2nd. I am fully willing to entertain any proposal to party. I plan on making the end of summer one of GRANDE proportions. There may even be party hats and streamers.

I will be purchasing my Car in Edmonton, but I have to find my Drivers Licence here, or get a new one. I'm not sure how I lost it, but I did. I may have mentioned this before, but I have been looking and it has not surfaced. I even cleaned my room from top to bottom looking for the dumb thing. I'll go check with the people here in manitoba and see what my options are. Till then I live with my Military ID, which is just as good. (P.s Civic Sedan won out, though I havn't decided on which package to go with yet, Im sure carly will be more than happy to oblige me and rattle off the discriminating details)

I will probably drive home on the 5th of Septmeber, so the 4th will be my last day. A Sit down dinner is no good, so maybe something akin to a picnic/sport day like you enjoyed last weekend could be had?

I know some of you are OLs for the Ickle-Firsties (was it really 4 years ago that I was one of those useless occupies of V-wing space?) so I'll try not to keep you out too late. I will have to drive, early, the next day so the festivities will have to be accordingly moderate.

till next time.

Comments:
Yay Civic Sedan! I've been looking online at cars (my parents are thinking of buying an Accord)and I think Civic Sedans are sweet!!! Yay for making out in a car, never done that before! Tee hee....

While I don't enjoy considering the possibilities that can be had with a four door, good call on the car, (of course I have to say that), but it's a car with at least five levels of awesome. And having test driven everthing, I can still say that my car impresses even me. It's just a great balance of everything.
