New Week
New Day, same buggery. Went off to supply, showed up 10 minutes early and it wasn't until 1020hr(90 minutes of waiting) that they got to me...I was 8th in line, if you want something today in Supply World, you better have asked for it last week.
More Aikido classes and learning all manner of things. Most of them on how to deal with being thrown to the matt 100 times without being hurt too bad (my knees are thanking me for learning how to fall foward less violently). I'm happy to report I am the dunce of the class. Erin outclasses me entirely already, after only a few classes. I will enjoy being the slow kid, it gives me humility, which "lowers my centre", which apparently makes me more receptive to learning.
This Just In: Im going to Winnipeg!
Only for a week, breathe Carol Breathe! October 17th-October 21st. Its for Aeromedical Training(AMT), which basically means I will learn what it means to be apoxic. Which I hear is a real hoot and a half. Air is entirely over-rated.
This is good news, it means the military has not forgot about me. Ofcourse October is Recruiting's Busy Season. I was the linch pin for three or 4 different events that are happening that week alone. Mcpl Lafrance (gilles) has to cancel 3 CALM lectures and re-schedule, basically a pain in the ass for everyone involved. Sadly AMT is a "career course" and means I will be there, regardless of prior leave arangements or assigned duties. The military term for this is "no acknowledgement required"
Off I go to Base!
